HCI summer youth camp is a four-week IT technology enrichment program that
offers courses in hardware, software, academic enrichment program, communication
skills and field trips. Hardware course includes assembling, configuration
and trouble- shooting of computers. Software course includes training
in basic applications such as PowerPoint, Access, Word, Windows Operating
Systems, Internet and web design capabilities. Academic enrichment program
includes math workshop, language arts and study habit development. Communication
skills course includes public speaking and presentation.
Each class session is 3 hours in length and runs from Monday to Friday.
The overall program length is 5 weeks for a total of 75 class hours.
